Valhalla Farm is offering a fine selection of warmbloods from 3 year olds just coming of riding age to FEI level horses ready for competition. Check out our current sales and watch for additions. We've "imported" the top German rider, Iris Eppinger, as trainer and teacher, who will be traveling to Germany from time to time to select horses for resale and to find that special horse you may need. HOT NEWS

Hailo finished 3rd in the USEF National standings for the leading dressage sire, all breeds. Martini was 13th with nearly 1000 stallions listed.

Jean Brinkman was leading breeder of dressage horses in the US for the third year by USEF statistics and 7th place in the leading breeder standings for event horses.

Stiletto placed 2nd in the CCI1* at Poplar Place with 29 horses competing.

GOOD NEWS!
Erin Brinkman is currently at Valhalla, available for training of horse and rider. She had a wonderful season, winning many classes with her four horses with scores over 70%. Erin placed 2nd in the Int 1 Freestyle at Devon and won the USDF Horse of the Year for Intermediare 1 Freestyle for 2007.

More Good News

Iris Eppinger has joined Valhalla as a trainer/teacher. She will select warmbloods from Europe a few times a year for resale. Iris comes from a foremost breeding and dressage center in Germany. Her skills are above and beyond dressage training, including acupuncture, massage and other skills to bring horses to their fullest potential.

Founded in 1972, our goal has always been the production of quality warmbloods to have as a friend and competition horse. We're slowly down sizing our broodmare herd but maintaining a few mares, primarily of Trakehner and Swedish bloodlines. We use our own well proven stallions and also a select few outside stallions with superior riding ability from outstanding International bloodlines.

In 2004, The USEF started record keeping on the Leading Breeders of the USA. We are pleased to report we stand 1st in 2005. 2006 and 2007 statistics as the leading breeder of dressage horses from all sport horse breeders in the USA. This year we added a 7th place standing for breeders of event horses.

Hailo and Martini are also again high on the list of dressage sires in 2007 placing 3rd and 13th in a list of 1000 stallions after placing 6th and 9th in 2006.

We want to thank all our fine customers and the owners of offspring of our stallions and mares for their fine performances in 2006 and 2007. Several placed and won around the country in Regional Championships.

In a recent 2006 article in the USDF magazine, Jean Brinkman was second leading breeder in the production of dressage horses earning National Horse of the Year awards over a 6 year period.

The proof of a breeding program must always come through the results of competition and here we have had great success.

Our specialty is dressage and a large number of our sales horses compete in this field earning an incredible number of USDF Horse of the Year and Breed awards. We've added eventing back into our competition schedule with great success.

As the years have progressed, a substantial number of our homebreds have entered the hunter field, earning many championships.

Although we breed with FEI gaits and quality in mind, our primary goal is to place our horses in loving homes where both horse and rider will progress to their own level at a comfortable speed.

Quite frankly, not all FEI horses are the happiest, while a well loved first level horse not ever living up to his potential can be the most rewarding and rewarded of horses.

The enjoyment and accord between horse and rider can be seen and appreciated at any level of competition.

We consider this our breeding reward.
